Value for money4/5Free nave plus a roof walk for well under €15; only the full combo's museum and crypt feel padded.
Can’t get it elsewhere3/5The rooftop view is distinctive, but Palermo has several more spectacular church interiors within a 10-minute walk.
Easy to do4/5Central, open long hours Mon–Sat, no booking needed; the rooftop closes at 14:30 on weekdays, Sunday visiting is restricted, and cruise groups crowd the nave.
