Why Reality is 81

Lives up to its fame4/5Google 4.8 from ~69k reviews; the main caveats are scale fatigue and long gallery closures (Fashion, South Asia).
Value for money5/5Free entry to a collection reviewers say beats many paid attractions; only special exhibitions cost extra.
Can’t get it elsewhere4/5No other London museum covers design and decorative arts at this scale; the Cast Courts are one of a kind.
Easy to do4/5No booking, 5 min from South Kensington Tube and usually less crowded than its neighbours; the maze-like layout and café crowds are the main friction.
